🇬🇧 In September 2018, we received two young horses from one of our owners. They had both just been broken in and had done their first few jumps under saddle, but were very green. We named the 2014 Chacco Blue x Lawito gelding: Chalito, and the 2013 Diarado’s Boy x Chacco Blue mare: Dialou Blue. And so the journey began.
They both improved immensely over the winter and jumped their first competition rounds in Peelbergen’s incredible indoor, just 25min drive from our stable. We quickly realised how much ability they had and our owner decided to keep them for the Horses and Dream’s Auction, that they run every year during the CSI**** in Hagen.
Chalito and Dialou Blue left us after a super start to the 2019 season to return to our owner a month before the auction in May 2019. We had worked very hard with them through the winter and were thrilled with the progress they had made and how far both had come in such a short amount of time.
The auction ended on the 5th May 2019. Dialou Blue sold for the top price of €74.500 to Poland and Chalito wasn’t far behind and sold as the second highest price at €66.000 to Belgium. They were both very special horses and we wish their new owners all the best with them. We look forward to following their journeys, as they develop further into top sports horses.
